As they scrutinised the feedback and the rates paid versus their asking prices during the revisited episode from 2011, B&B proprietors Gill and Peter sought clarity from a duo who marked them with a mere five for cleanliness.

Describing the score as ‘extremely low’, Peter read out some critiques penned by Melvyn, which included grievances about wrinkled linens featuring a small hole and a blotch.

Melvyn defended his assessment stating: “I think your staff should have gone through it, much more thoroughly.”
