Frigid today, but a warming trend starts tomorrow [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – We reached a high temperature of 45° during the early afternoon hours of Wednesday, but then a cold front with wind gusts over 50mph caused temperatures to drop the rest of the day and overnight.

THURSDAY

It is a frigid start to Thursday as air temperatures are in the single digits and feels like temperatures are below zero for us all. You will need to layer up as you walk out the door this morning! Highs will only peak near 20° this afternoon with a calming wind.

There is a chance to see flurries this morning in western Siouxland. Additionally, locations along and east of I-29 could see flurries this evening after 5pm. Any accumulation will be limited to a dusting.
