LE MARS, IA (KTIV) – The holly jolly holidays have people in Le Mars, IA rockin’ around the block for the 5th annual Christmas in Hometown Le Mars.
From dashing store displays and activities such as ice skating, petting zoos and bingo at the Ice Cream Parlor, emceed by KTIV’s own meteorologist Jacob Howard. People explored the ice cream capital of the world through scavenger hunts, making stops at local businesses, taking pictures with Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Grinch.
Cheryl Wells, a Co-Founder of the Christmas in Hometown Le Mars, said it’s beautiful seeing all the families together making Christmas memories.
“I also love to go out into the community, and I love to be out where there’s a group of people and just kind of see what’s happening, it’s been really beautiful to see how our dream came true with this,” said Wells.
