In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, former WWE Superstar and TNA producer Gail Kim spoke about the evolution of women’s wrestling. She said,
“I know we have a little bit more work to do, but we’ve come so far. If you told me this when I entered the business in the year 2000, well I took my first bump in 2000, but women’s wrestling was kind of still [underutilized]. There was the Golden Era of wrestling at that time, so they’re really utilizing a small group of women, and so that’s what inspired me.
