India vs Australia, Border-Gavaskar Trophy: India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir faced tough questions after the team’s disappointing 1-3 Test series defeat and mentioned that he wants everyone should play domestic cricket.

India lost the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the first time in 10 years. The visitors lost the fifth and final Test match in Sydney on Sunday.

“I would always like everyone to play domestic cricket. That’s how much importance domestic cricket needs to be given. Not only one game; if they are available and they have the commitment to play red-ball cricket, everyone should play domestic cricket as simply as it can get. If you don’t give importance to domestic cricket, you will never get the desired players you want in Test cricket.”
