Scott Marshaus never thought he would end up working as an addiction counselor for the Care Campus in Rapid City when he began attending college for a history degree before working as a park ranger and starting a small business. He now calls it his third calling.
“Definitely the field I’ve noticed where, second calling, third calling, fourth calling would be the way to put it. It’s usually folks who have been around some issues, either personally or within their family,” Marshaus said.
