Owner Richard Halbig, a Navy veteran, moved to Green Bluff with his family to retire. The house they purchased came with a small caramel shop attached, sparking Halbig’s interest in candy-making.
Today, the family continues the legacy, crafting chocolates and caramels in their shop and growing all their ingredients on their farm.
“When you shop local, your money stays local. It goes to local businesses; it goes to local communities. These are the people…like us. We live here. We’re doing things here. We’re out in the community here,” said Halbig.
