GREEN LAKE, Wis. (WBAY) – In an effort to find a missing kayaker on Green Lake, the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office is asking people to avoid a section of Green Lake on Saturday, Aug. 24.
The sheriff’s office will be partnering with two entities to search an area off of Blackbird Point on Green Lake starting at 7 a.m. There will be K9 search teams, divers, and DNR and sheriff’s office boats around the area, which will be marked with buoys.
The Green Lake Sheriff’s Office asks people to avoid the search area if they’re out on the water, and to be observant and send photos of anything strange on Green Lake to them.
They also ask people to continue supporting and praying for the family of the missing kayaker.
