GREENSBORO, N.C. — Small Business Saturday drew many shoppers to downtown Greensboro, supporting local stores and helping boost the local economy. Many shoppers said they choose small businesses because they believe in investing in the community.

“We’ve been very steady today and very happy to be open on this Small Business Saturday,” said Tinker Clayton, co-owner of Hudson’s Hill.

“It’s like, been crazy today. So I was like, I came up to help them catch up,” said Alexis Chandler, owner of Chandler’s.

“I wasn’t expecting it to be quite that busy, but it was fabulous,” said Kathryn Hashemi, owner of Just Be.
