I would like to draw attention to the hundreds of construction workers in Harrisburg performing a multitude of jobs. None of them appear to be a part of any local union.
Since the New Federal Courthouse was built, our community was forced to sit and watch outsiders come in and build without any of our own qualified and skilled laborers. We staged several protests at the 6th and Reily Street courthouse site. Now, we have a city full of contractors and specialists in all areas of construction.
