HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX) CEO Bo Sears talked with Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion about the company’s ongoing exploration efforts. Sears discussed recent test results from the Amsden formation at the Clink #1 well in Ingomar Dome. While the Amsden results were not as expected, Sears emphasised it was a secondary target and highlighted significant gas shows during drilling, which could indicate substantial potential in the Flathead and Charles formations.

“We remain very sanguine about our prospects here,” Sears noted, discussing plans to stimulate these zones for better flow rates using hydrochloric acid. He also shared updates on the Darwin #1 well at the Rudyard project, where testing is expected to begin shortly. Helix aims to keep investors informed about its progress, with a pipeline of work already underway.
