KMBC 9 Cares for Kids is partnering with Lead to Read to build a community of readers. You can help us reach our goal of sponsoring 1,000 kids this month. Lead to Read uses the power of community volunteers to help kids with their reading and overall confidence. The organization brings volunteers to local schools, and it’s making a difference, especially for kids whose parents may not speak English.
