The 2024 Future Attribute Demand Study done by market analyst firm AutoPacific examined 163 vehicle features like autonomous driving and safety tech, necessities for families, infotainment technologies, connected features, exterior appearance packages and hands-off towing aids, alongside vehicle types and powertrains, to discover what Americans actually want in their vehicles and what has either fallen out of fashion, or isn’t en vogue yet.
The pool surveyed included 14,900 licensed drivers in the U.S. who self-identify as intending to acquire a new vehicle in the next three years.
