FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – After a perfect Thursday on the court, the North Dakota St. Bison completed an unbeaten week on Saturday as the women’s team took down Oral Roberts 79-69 and the men took care of business at Denver 69-50.
Starting with the women hosting the Golden Eagles, the Bison trailed most of the first three quarters and faced a nine-point deficit in the third quarter.
But a strong fourth and a career-best 22 points from Avery Koenen helped NDSU come back and score a double-digit victory.
As for the men, they jumped out to a double-digit lead quickly on the Pioneers and kept the pressure on for the win. Jacksen Moni and Noah Feddersen led the Bison with 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Next up, both teams are back in action Thursday when the men host Kansas City and the women travel to Omaha.
