House of Marigold to open new location in summer 2025 [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Middletown restaurant known for its southern comfort, locally-sourced cuisine is opening a second location.

The House of Marigold will set up shop on Meeting Street in Norton Commons.

It has been nearly two years since co-owners Adrienne and Kris Cole opened their flagship location on Shelbyville Road featuring full-service breakfast and lunch menus, craft cocktails and coffee.

Norton Commons was chosen because of its walkability and hub of activity for independent small businesses, according to Adrienne.

“We are particularly excited to be able to offer inviting patio seating at the new location.”

The House of Marigold received Southern Living Magazine’s “Best Restaurant in Kentucky in 2024.”

No opening date has been set, but The House of Marigold said it plans to open summer 2025.
