GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Heavy winter weather is on the way, and for some parts of West Michigan, it’s already here.
It’s not just the snow that could cause concern, but the potential for winds that could lead to power outages.
“We have over 80 crews, over 200 electric line workers, who are going to be coming onto our system, starting their day later this afternoon so that we can work through the night and overnight if we do see power outages,” Consumers Energy spokesperson Brian Wheeler said early Wednesday afternoon.
