People ask me all the time how they can start a business like mine. I’ve put off answering because there’s no exact right or wrong answer. But I truly do want to help however I can, so without further ado, here’s my step-by-step guide to starting a stationery business. This is exactly what I would do if I was starting from scratch now. Timing is everything, so I can’t say for sure whether this model will work now in 2024. But based on everything I’ve learned over the last 9 years, this is what I think would be the most direct and cost-effective way to get into the stationery store game!
