A holiday tradition for families across the nation returns Thanksgiving Day on NBC, which has broadcast the event since 2002.

PHILADELPHIA — NBC will celebrate man’s best friend in “The National Dog Show” on Thanksgiving Day.

The competition will air following NBC’s telecast of “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” on Thursday.

Coverage of the dog competition airs from noon to 2 p.m. local time.

Longtime hosts John O’Hurley and David Frei will reprise their roles as hosts, having co-hosted together since the National Dog Show first aired on NBC in 2002.

“The National Dog Show” will also be streamed on Peacock, NBCSports.com and on the NBC Sports app.
