Baltimore took two-of-three in the Bronx, clinching a series win with a 17-5 shellacking on Thursday night. The Yankees are now 2-5 against the Orioles this season and 10-12 against teams in the American League, clinging to a ½ game lead over Baltimore in the standings.

In fact, the Orioles have now won or tied 22 consecutive series against teams in the AL East, the longest streak against division opponents without losing a series since divisions were introduced in 1969.
