Hummingbird Theatre Company performs ‘Blithe Spirit’ [Video]

‘Blithe Spirit’ follows Charles Condomine as he is haunted by his late wife Elvira after a séance gone wrong. Why is she haunting him? He has a new wife.

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — The Hummingbird Theatre Company is currently performing the play “Blithe Spirit,” a dark comedy about a man named Charles Condomine (played by Doug Wilcox) who can see the ghost of his late wife Elvira (Katie Smith-Induni) as she tries to ruin his current marriage.

ABC10’s Mark S. Allen went to the Cal Cap Black Box Theater in Rancho Cordova to see how their relationship holds up.

There are three upcoming performances. There will be two shows at 7:30 p.m. Fri, Nov 15 and Sat, Nov 16, as well as a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Sun, Nov 17. Those who plan on attending the Sunday show should act fast, though.
