New York, NY, September 16, 2011 — Peter King Hunsinger has been named President and Publisher of the Golf Digest Companies, it was announced today by Charles H. Townsend, CEO of Condé Nast. Thomas J. Bair, Vice President and Publishing Director of Golf Digest and Golf World, and Laura Sequenzia, Publisher of Golf World, will report to Hunsinger. The appointment is effective immediately.
“Pete will partner with Jerry Tarde, longtime Golf Digest Companies Editorial Director, to lead these extraordinary brands into new areas and onto new platforms,” said Mr. Townsend. “Pete’s track record for success at Condé Nast is tremendous and I’m confident this will be a great role for him.”
