What most people call “AI Agents” are actually just regular automation flows with some AI in some of the steps.
Those are not truly agentic.
With n8n, you give an agent access to a list of tools and describe how to use them – but that’s it.
No flows.
You let the AI Agent autonomously figure out how to combine the tools to carry out the task it was given.
