Increasing clouds are ahead of more changes for us [Video]

Another cold evening is on tap for the Tri-State. However, a quick warm-up is here for Wednesday before another frigid, block of cold air arrives.

Overnight skies will stay clear as our next system approaches. Temperatures will stay cold overnight with lows down into the low 20s. Winds start to turn to the southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

The wind ramps up for Wednesday and will be the headliner of our day. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph from the southwest will be likely, at times gusting at 30-35mph, or more.

This leads to a milder afternoon with temperatures reaching the low 40s. Unfortunately, we won’t feel as warm because the wind chills will be in the mid-30s.
