Intel to lay off 58 more employees from Folsom offices [Video]

FOLSOM, Calif. — Intel Corp. will lay off 58 more employees in Folsom starting next month, the state says.

Approximately 1,059 Intel employees in Folsom have been laid off since January 2023, according to data available on California’s Employment Development Department (EDD) website. Intel told EDD on Thursday it plans to permanently lay off approximately 58 more employees effective March 31 — which would bring the layoff total to 1,117.

This round of Intel layoffs reportedly will not affect employees at its San Jose office.
