Jerky Recalled Nationwide As Safety Warning Issued [Video]

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, has announced the recall of approximately 6,000 pounds of ready-to-eat jerky products.

Hickory Hollow Jerky, an Alabama-based and veteran-owned business, produced products without required federal inspection.

The beef and bacon jerky products were produced on various dates between January and August of 20224.

Ownership of Hickory Hollow Jerky changed hands on June 11, 2024. The recalled products were made by the two different owners of the business, neither of whom had the products inspected.

The products were shipped to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Oklahoma, as well through online sales nationwide.
