OVERLAND PARK, Ks. (KCTV) – Both Neta Meltzer and Samantha Salem feel cautiously optimistic about a deal to end the war officially starting as their families survive through the carnage.
“This is a moment of a lot of hope but also really, really cautious with the optimism,” said Meltzer.
“I am mad, I am angry, I am livid,” said Salem. “It is completely unnecessary for this to have taken this long.”

Meltzer feels the Jewish community has held its breath and will continue to do so as her family in Israel, including her mother, waits for pen to paper and hostages to come home.
