We have just a few days until we’ll know the results of local, state, and national elections. Johnson County, Kansas has seen much higher advance voting turnout than the past two presidential elections.Around 170,000 registered voters have cast ballots as of Thursday.Tarin Peet, his wife, and daughter were three of thousands at the polls Friday.“The way the world’s gone, we’ve got to make it better, so got to get out and vote,” Peet said.Peet and other voters at the Johnson County Election Office in Olathe had short wait times. The county has seen minimal waits with 18 locations open for advanced voting.Johnson County is also no longer in need of poll workers for this election.They have filled those positions after putting out a call last week.Poll workers in Jackson County, Missouri have been busy, too.
