The O’Callaghan family have celebrated their takeover of the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, Co Kildare at an event attended by members of the community as well as local and national politicians.
Matthew O’Callaghan and Denis Williams purchased the popular 69-bedroom hotel from the O’Loughlin family last July, and have announced plans for significant investment.
The O’Callaghan family, which also owns the Fairways Hotel and the Gateway Hotel in Dundalk, has plans for significant capital investment enhance the hotel’s facilities, upgrade the leisure centre and to add on bedrooms to drive additional visitor numbers.
The owners welcomed Senator Fiona O’Loughlin, TD Cathal Barry and councillors Pat Balfe, Peggy O’Dwyer and Brian O’Loughlin to the event marking a continued legacy of family ownership and community commitment.
