Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary called Vice President Kamala Harris’s economic agenda “un-American” and bound for disaster.
Harris announced multiple economic policies last week and critics have mainly taken issue with the vice president’s plan to pass a federal ban on “price gouging” in the food industry. Harris partially blamed inflation on companies “exploiting crises.”
“The best way to describe it is un-American,” O’Leary said.
The venture capitalist argued there is no way to actually monitor this system or to introduce enough bans that more costs won’t be shifted to the consumer.
“In America, we don’t tell a farmer what to sell his apple for and we don’t tell a grocer what to sell it for. That’s how our economy works. We don’t have the ministry of grocery pricing.
