Killer Clutches owner comes back to home destroyed in Park Fire | News [Video]

Orozco says that the evacuation process took her about five hours because she had to evacuate about 400 animals off of her property. Her boyfriend drove animals in and out of the area to friends and community members who offered to help.

CHICO, Calif. – “Even when we drove away, we just thought we’d be evacuated for a bit and we’d be home today,” Killer Clutches Owner Nallely Orozco said.

Killer Clutches was a reptile store that specialized in breeding, boarding, educational programs, and even hosted birthday parties. Orozco came home Sunday to find what was left of her house and business after the Park Fire burned through North Butte County.

“As soon as we got the first evacuation warning that was going down a couple miles down the street across from the airport, we kind of jumped into action, wetting with the hose, the area, the roof, and packing up animals,” …
