KMBC continuing to investigate Kansas City mail complaints [Video]

Complaints continue to KMBC 9 Investigates saying mail delivery is not meeting expectations in Kansas City.Lucinda Guest is the latest person to send KMBC a tip about mail troubles.She’s missing a package with a $33 watch band that never came to her front porch a couple of weeks ago.After seeking answers from the United States Postal Service, a USPS automated recording eventually told her it was delivered to zip code 64132.But, that’s not Guest’s zip code.She realizes it is a small package. But, to Guest, it represents a bigger problem with the postal service.She reached out to KMBC 9 Investigates to publicize her problem and ask for help.“I really hope it makes people more conscientious in doing their job,” Guest said.A USPS spokesman on Tuesday said Kansas City’s postmaster general and director of consumer affairs are looking into Guest’s problem.It is a positive step after months of trouble for thousands …
