WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Robert Brooks and Naomi Barron are both running for Wichita Falls City Council District 2.
News Channel 6 interviewed Brooks to learn more about him and his platform. Brooks is a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls who has raised his five children in the community. He has worked in coaching and training.
“I was a part of the generation where there was actually a booming business district on the east side in Linwood edition and on the northside in dog patch areas. There were actually booming businesses that are now dissipated they’re gone you know and I know that I make an impact because I know exactly what it was then and what it can be now,” Brooks said.
Brooks said he hopes to build district 2 up by utilizing unused spaces and beautifying the area.
