Charles Weaver and his Jeep, Spartacus, are once again preparing to aid the community during anticipated winter weather.
KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — When snow is in the forecast, Charles Weaver and his Jeep, Spartacus, are ready to hit the road to help those in need.
Last year, Weaver took to the streets transporting people, delivering supplies and helping first responders during a historic snowstorm that paralyzed the area.
“Last year I was just trying to help whoever needed help,” he said. “Transporting people, helping them with supplies, moving back and forth between nurses and first responders.”
Weaver’s efforts were not without sacrifice. He helped over 100 people without asking for anything in return. Any money he was given was donated.
“We ended up donating $2,700 last year to Vestal United Methodist Church just through South Knoxville Speaks Out,” said Weaver.
