KU officials say agreement for games at Arrowhead in signature process days before first game [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – With just over 48 hours before kickoff of the University of Kansas’ first home football game scheduled to be played at Arrowhead Stadium, a contract has yet to be signed.

Still, University officials say that shouldn’t be cause for concern for fans of the Jayhawks and visiting TCU Horned Frogs.

“The overarching business terms have been agreed to for months,” KU Athletics said in a statement shared with KCTV on Thursday. “Like any complex agreement of this scope, there are many moving legal parts. The agreement is in signature process and we’re excited to play there this season.”

Concern was raised after a report from KCUR Thursday morning said KU had yet to sign an official contract to play the four games scheduled for Arrowhead Stadium.
