GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) – From humble beginnings going 37-0 and winning three straight state championships at Langdon, to being the starting quarterback at the Flagship U, Simon Romfo has earned the starting QB job at North Dakota.
“Yeah, I would say it’s a dream come true,” Romfo said.
Following Tommy Schuster’s transfer to Michigan State, Simon Romfo has emerged as UND’s next starting quarterback, a thrill for Simon, his twin brother and UND teammate Grant, and the entire family.
“They were the first ones I told after I found out,” Romfo said. “They were just super excited for me and I’m super thankful for them too.
“Growing up here, you’re watching the games all the time, and just being able to say you’re from a North Dakota small town is just a really cool experience.”
