FAIRFIELD – Lawrence football started the season hot, with a 26-0 win over Gardiner on Friday night.
The Bulldogs led 14-0 at half. In the third, Colton Carter found the endzone to make it 20-0, and the Lawrence defense would hold true for the shutout.
Lawrence heads to Cony next week to take on the Rams, and Gardiner is home hosting Mt. Blue.
