LDA to open applications for 184 cost rental apartments in Tallaght [Video]

The Land Development Agency (LDA) is set to open applications for 184 cost rental apartments in the Cookstown area of Tallaght.

An online application portal for the new BER A-rated homes at Cookstown Gateway, which include a mix of studios, one- and two-bed apartments, is due to open at noon on Thursday (20 June) and will remain open for a week.

Rents will be set at €1,000 for a studio apartment, €1,225 for a one-bed, and €1,425 for a two-bed, or around 25% lower than comparable market rates, through the government’s Secure Tenancy Affordable Rental (STAR) scheme.

The development was delivered in partnership with Stranwill Ltd through the LDA’s Project Tosaigh initiative to accelerate stalled private sector housing projects that have planning permission.
