Los Angeles weather: SoCal to feel more heat on Monday but cooldown coming soon [Video]

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will stay hot for the next two days but temperatures will start to dip a little during the middle of the week.

An excessive heat advisory remains in place for inland communities until Tuesday night.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Monday will see a high temperature of 92 but by Wednesday temperatures will drop to the mid 80s.

The valleys and the Inland Empire will see 102 on Monday, with 90s later in the week.

The beaches will be in the mid-70s on Monday with some morning clouds and similar conditions all week.

The mountains will reach 85 degrees on Monday, while some thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday.

Desert communities will hit 107 and stay in the triple digits all week, with a chance of thunder starting Tuesday.
