BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A children’s show produced in Louisiana was named in the Visual Arts category at the 56th Public Media Awards.
“Ziggy’s Arts Adventure” is a digital educational show produced by Louisiana Public Broadcasting for children ages seven to 12. According to LPB, the show teaches kids core art concepts through storytelling and puppets.
The show’s second season was named in the visual arts category by the National Educational Telecommunications Association, which honors public media work across the US.
“Ziggy is a Louisiana-based production, shot right here in the LPB studios and in remote locations around Baton Rouge. Ziggy creator Clay Achee and the team at Beyond the Garage Productions do amazing work bringing Ziggy, his friends, and their colorful world to life,” said LPB Digital Media Director Donald “D. Ray!” Washington.
