Major bridge project has Quechee shops concerned about foot traffic [Video]

A village of small businesses in Windsor County is worried about bringing in revenue this fall tourism season with a major construction project at the gorge expected to last a couple of years.NBC5 spoke with some local shops, and they say they are just not seeing the same amount of foot traffic they normally do this time of year.The small scenic village of Quechee sits comfortably in the town of Hartford. One of its most popular tourist attractions is the Quechee Gorge Bridge.The bridge is down to one lane of travel, and business owners say they were told it could be under construction for potentially four years.Lisa Mattei is the owner of Living the Dream Alpaca Farm.
