Man accused of breaking into Mass. business through its air vents [Video]

Police in Tewksbury are looking for a man who is accused of breaking into a local business on Main Street, after surveillance video showed the man appearing to use the building’s air vents to enter the business earlier this week.The Tewksbury Police Department said officers were dispatched to Kay’s Hallmark Store on Monday, after they received reports that the back door of the business was left wide open.When they arrived at the scene, officers searched the building for signs of suspicious activity and discovered that several ceiling tiles were missing near the entrance.Additionally, officers noticed that the cash registers appeared to be tampered with and money was missing.”Someone really went through a lot of effort to come through the ceiling,” Kay’s owner Chintan Gandhi said. “We got lucky that it wasn’t during our busy holiday season. I mean, he stole all my rolls of pennies, it made no sense.”Police said …
