NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed in a parking lot behind a business in Madison.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at 1320 Gallatin Pike South.
When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said he was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Police said a small group of men had reportedly gathered during the evening in the rear parking lot. The motive of the shooting is under investigation, police said.
Officials added that they’re working to notify the victim’s family.
“Anyone with information regarding the murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a $5,000 cash reward in homicide cases,” police said.
