A man was rescued from the shore of Lake Michigan near Warnimont Golf Course in Cudahy after being found shivering and cold on the lakefront. The rescue operation happened near the Warnimont Golf Course in Cudahy. According to Cudahy’s Fire Department Chief, Jeff Bloor, other walkers found the man lying on the beach, visibly cold from the elements. “It’s a very remote part of the lake, especially this time of year with it being fall, and cold, with the ice forming down there,” Chief Bloor said. “Not too many people are down on the beach, walking and exploring. He just happens to be lucky that there were a few folks down there enjoying it.”The rescue operation required the use of ropes to bring the man up a 200-foot cliff. Cudahy Firefighters worked with Oak Creek Firefighters and the Milwaukee Heavy Urban Rescue Team (HURT) to bring the man to safety. …
