SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The holiday season started in Springfield with the mayor’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Saturday.
The event took place in Park Central Square. The popular holiday show featured local artists, singers, and dancers. Santa and Mrs. Claus also attended.
KY3′s Jackie Garrity and Chad Plein hosted the event. This was Mayor Ken McClure’s final tree lighting before he leaves office next year.
