MEDFORD, Ore. — Day one of the Meadowlark Comic-Con brought heroes, anime and everything pop culture to Rogue X on Saturday.
This event began six years ago, with 2024 being the first year it was held at Rogue X. The venue change means thousands of people can head into the event center, wearing their favorite costumes and getting the chance to get up close with artists.
“It’s a feeling of community,” Dave Hawarth, the festival’s president of business operations, told NewsWatch 12. “Kind of like when you get together with friends and family. It’s just a pure happy feeling.”
Meadowlark Comic-Con will continue Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
