Mesa pizza shop becomes national sensation after videos go viral on TikTok

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Mesa pizza shop is gaining national attention for its delicious food videos.

Owners Kateri Cusumano and Vinny Pante combined their restaurant experience to open Amici Pizza in 2019. They serve handmade New York-style pizza and Italian food.

Amici Pizza went viral on TikTok after sharing videos of life as a small business owner, opening the restaurant, serving tables, and making delicious hand-tossed pizzas, cannolis and drinks.

“It’s just kind of crazy to see the power of social media and the attention it’s brought to us,” said Cusumano.

Their most popular items include the buffalo chicken pizza with ranch, classic cheese, BBQ chicken pizza, and rigatoni pasta with vodka sauce.
