ST. LOUIS — Last week Midwest BankCentre hosted their 4th annual nonprofit connector event. The goal is to diversify non-profit board’s by connecting St. Louis area leaders looking to serve on Boards with nonprofits.
“This event was born a few years ago. I was getting so many calls about serving on nonprofit boards. What they were really looking for was an opportunity to build relationships,” says Orvin Kimbrough, Midwest BankCentre Chairman and CEO. “Our whole objective is to play matchmaker. We want to get people on boards. We want to curate talent to fit the diverse non-profit sector that we have in the St. Louis region,” he says.
