Mixed precip overnight & early Monday
A stray shower of rain or snow is possible overnight. Otherwise, most areas remain dry and mostly cloudy through the night as temperatures gradually fall to near freezing by Monday morning.
Through the morning hours on Monday, isolated areas of light rain are expected to develop and move across eastern Iowa. Many places will remain dry, but some areas that see rain could also see a transition to wintry mix or snow if temperatures remain close to or below freezing. Any precipitation that falls will be isolated and light, however, and with rising temperatures on Monday accumulations and impacts are expected to be minimal.
