Leading accountancy firm Moore Ireland has promoted Johnny Blain, Roy Scannell and Ray Masterson as partners and is close to closing an acquisition to support its growth plans.
The company is actively seeking to make further acquisitions amid wider market consolidation after securing investment from London-based Moore Kingston Smith LLP, which is backed by private equity group Waterland.
Blain, a chartered accountant and internal auditor, has been with Moore Ireland since 2011 and specialises in financial modelling and corporate finance.
He has extensive experience working within the Credit Union’s consultancy division, handling loan book reviews, asset reviews, governance reviews, internal audits and strategy development.
His work in corporate finance has seen him lead the valuation of blue-chip Irish entities and advise on complex financial engagements both in Ireland and the UK.
Blain will continue to lead the governance, risk and assurance portfolio while also focusing on internal audit services for credit union clients.
