More than 1000 HVAC work orders at Albuquerque Public Schools [Video]

Video above: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning concerns continue to plague Albuquerque Public Schools. It’s an issue KOAT has raised with the school district for nearly 20 years. We’ve attached various clips over the years from parents, teachers and administrators. KOAT also obtained 151 pages of HVAC orders submitted within the school district since the start of the 2024-25 school year, Wednesday, Aug. 7-Aug. 24. A total of 1,038 HVAC work orders have been submitted through Wednesday, Aug. 21. So far, 428 work orders have now been completed, but 610 of them are still in progress.
